The WIA has opened a public consultation on 40 m harmonisation. Below is my submission.

When I make submissions such as this, I try to remember that:
- I’m engaging with people. I need to be polite and appreciate that they have put effort into the proposal.
- Disagreeing and countering with my position in a calm and logical manner is how societies move forward. Being rude however will weaken my argument.
- I don’t have advanced degrees in psychology or sociology, and so am only an expert on me. I must remember that I can’t co-opt others’ opinions to mine.
- I mustn’t confuse statements of fact with opinion; make it clear in my writing which is which.
